Pentacle Symbol The Pentacle is an encircled Pentagram and is the absolute symbol of protection. It is considered to be representative of the five elements from which man is made, namely fire, air, water, earth and spirit. As a talisman, you can use it to cast open, protect and close a circle. It can be used in ceremonies and rituals as protection and spiritual control. When forged from silver, your link to the Moon and Psychic energies are at its strongest.

The Meaning of the Tree of Life A Connection to Everything: The Tree of Life commonly represents the interconnectedness of everything in the universe. It symbolizes togetherness and serves as a reminder that you are never alone or isolated, but rather that you are connected to the world. The Tree of Life symbol also represents the connection to one’s family and ancestors. It may also be used to represent peace, immortality and rebirth, individuality, growth, and strength.

The Triquetra is, without doubt, one of the most popular and enduring triple knot designs. The line is unbroken and never-ending and is said to represent many things, such as unity, protection, and everlasting life. This ancient Celtic symbol symbolizes a triple female divinity.

Spiral Goddess Symbol
Used to represent the divine female, the Goddess is sometimes shown with a spiral set in the centre of the abdomen and is referred to as the 'Spiral Goddess.' This spiral represents the creative power within, that rises from our sacral chakra, the chakra that corresponds to our menstrual cycle, our desires, our sexuality, and relationships. This symbol is also used as a sign of life. The spiral represents the ever continuing cycle of life, death, and rebirth. The spiraling line can be seen as the constant path of life. Her arms are raised to invoke spiral power; it's a symbol of dynamism, creativity and life force. This poignant imagery contrasts the usual depiction of women holding their hands clasped down in front in order to conceal themselves.

Evil Eye / Nazar
Some cultures believe that receiving the evil eye can bring misfortune, injury, or bad luck. For protection, evil eye amulets are used to guard an individual against ‘Nazar.’ The blue color of the evil eye means protection. It is the traditional color related to good karma, protection against Nazar, and positive energies. Additionally, the light blue color symbolizes the truth and ensures protection against evil looks. It is believed these talismans, will ward off a curse and bring blessings and positive energy at the same time.

Hand of Fatima/ Hamsa
Hamsa is a talismanic symbol that is believed to protect oneself from harm against evil forces. The Hamsa Hand or Hand of Fatima is an ancient Middle Eastern talisman. In all regards it is a protective symbol. It brings its owner happiness, luck, health, and good fortune. It also relates to power, strength, and protection, and therefore, it can be placed anywhere in a house. It will bring in good luck and ward off the effects of the evil eye within an area. If it faces down, the fingers are shut together to bring in good karma. The hamsa hand has a wide variety of different spellings which includes hamesh, hamsa, chamsa, and khamsa.

THE WITCH'S BESOM
Witches are nearly always depicted with their trusty broomsticks. Brooms, also called besoms, have a long history in magic and continue to be used today.

A witches besom is a ceremonial broom which is normally used to clean an area of unwanted energy in order to create a sacred space. The besom is a symbol of banishing, fertility, and cleansing. The witch’s broom can be used to cleanse your space, your home, and even a person or object of negative energy. In addition, the witch’s besom will function as a wand and brings prosperity and peace in one’s home.

It can also be used to protect the home against evil spirits. For marriage and other ceremonies, it can be used to symbolize the end of one thing and the beginning of the next.
Its main purpose is to purify and protect and especially the circle where the casting area is before a ritual or magic spell is performed by sweeping to symbolize the removal of all the energies which are negative and building up the astral.

This tool has a very special place in Wicca.

How to Use the Witch’s Broom to Cleanse Your Home

To cleanse your home of negative energy, take your witch’s broom and start at the back door. Sweep each room, moving in a counter-clockwise fashion from room-to-room, then ending at the back door where you started. Sweep any debris out the back door OR dump your dustpan out the back door. To dump or sweep dirt out the front door invites negative energy back in

How to Cleanse Your Sacred Space with a Besom

Similar to how you cleanse your home with the witch’s broom, you can cleanse your sacred space before ritual. Instead of touching the bristles to the floor, sweep slightly above it and move in a counterclockwise, circular pattern. Counterclockwise “un-does” things AND clears negative energy. If you dedicate one besom to your magical practice, keep it near your altar.

Banishing at Birth
When you are expecting delivery of a baby in any room of a house, you can place a besom in the same vicinity. Upon delivery, use the besom to do some sweeping around the birth site. The besom is a potent symbol of fertility and doing this will also banish negative energies from the mother and the baby. Doing banishing as early as the day the child is born will benefit the him or her greatly.
Protection Against Bad Spells
If you think that someone is putting a hex on you, place a besom by the entry doorway of your house. This will prevent the black magic from penetrating your house and making its way to you. The besom is a very powerful amulet against black magick. Even if no one is using black magick on you, placing a besom by the door will also protect you and your home from evil spirits. Make sure to place the bristles up and let the shaft hit the floor.

To Protect Against Nightmares
Placing a besom under your bed at night while you sleep will help you sleep peacefully and undisturbed by bad dreams.

To Protect Your Bed When You’re Away
If you are traveling and will be gone for quite some time, place the besom with its bristles facing up on your bed to protect your bed from evil spirits while you are away.
Purifying and Cleansing Before Spell Casting
Use the besom to cleanse your ritual space before performing magick. The power of the besom is it has the ability to cleanse not just a physical space but also a mental and metaphysical space. It will get rid of negative energy buildup and astral build up. In covens, it is very common for a Priest or Priestess to walk clockwise while carrying a besom a little above the ground and perform a sweeping before casting a circle.

Channeling Your Spells
Placing a besom on your altar will help you a lot in your spell casting, especially in channeling and directing energy.

Speaking To The Departed
If you place a besom across the doorway, it will allow you to speak to those who have passed on. So long as the besom is there, they will feel free to communicate with you. So if you wish to talk to a friend or relative who has gone ahead, the besom will make that possible for you.

To Bring Rain
If you bring a besom outside and swing it over your head, this will bring rain for you and your crops.

Here are some tips on buying and using your besom:

Avoid buying a besom in May. As the saying goes, “Buy a besom in May, and you will sweep your friends away.”

Avoid sweeping after sunset. Superstition says this will chase away happiness.

Do not burn a besom.

Do not use the besom to sweep the outside of a house.

Do not bring old besoms into new homes. Leave the besom behind if you are moving.

Keep your witch’s broom bristles pointed up and next to the front door to welcome good fortune into the home.

What's the quality of ingredients utilized?

We use 100% from Nature Ingredients. The majority of our herbs are organic and ethically wildcrafted and foraged locally. The rest are typically garden grown in our medicinal garden. We do outsource when needed and always choose quality, organic sources. We try to utilize our local small business owners but do have several things that are shipped from non local small family farms.
Our products are herbalist created in small batches and all natural, free of harmful chemicals, and are cruelty-free and eco-friendly. We focus on creating the best possible recipes each and every time and offer a quality you can't buy in store.

How is it made? What's the lowdown on the butters?

Everything is handmade to order in small batches using fair trade, organic, raw and wildcrafted ingredients whenever possible. This ensures your batch is fresh and the highest quality. We put our heart and soul into our products and trust that the plants will offer their healing to all that they touch.
We use Fair Trade, Raw and Organic Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, and Mango Butter. We use unrefined butters as this keeps all the vitamins, minerals and other natural properties of the butters intact. Our cocoa butter is non deodorized as the process of deodorizing (removing the naturally occurring soft cocoa scent) will destroy the antioxidants that naturally occur in the butter.

Where's the chemicals?

Free from chemicals! Well, sort of. Technically, Chemicals make up all matter. That means stating that we use no chemicals would be a lie as the scientific definition of chemical means that most everything (other than "energy" itself) IS a chemical. But we know what you mean and we ARE Free from Parabens, Pesticides, Petroleum, Phthalates, Sulfates, SLS, Artificial Colors, Synthetic Fragrances, and all the other yucky stuff.

Sustainability Promise

We reuse everything we can, from cardboard boxes & packing peanuts, to shipping air pillows. We never buy plastic shipping materials, so if you receive one, that's us reusing one that was sent to us from a supplier. A vast majority of our supplies are reused from what suppliers send us. We recycle our cardboard, brown paper, printing paper, packing materials, plastic jugs, and as much plastic as can be recycled. Your order ships in reusable containers, whenever possible.

Any allergens?

Of course. There's a wide range of allergies and sensitivities out there and it's possible to be allergic to any ingredient used as well as cross allergies. Some of the butters and oils used can trigger nut allergies. We recommend messaging us directly for more info prior to buying if you're aware of any major allergens. Always perform a spot check on the inside of your arm. Apply a small quantity of product to skin, smaller than the size of a dime, and then wait several hours. Allergies can start at any stage and age so if an unsuspected allergy occurs when using a product, discontinue use immediately and consult your doctor.

My Salve/Balm melted in the mail!

During the summer, warm months, or warm weather:
Please remove your balms from the mailbox or porch as soon as they are delivered. We can not control shipping times or the weather (although we wish we could) and can not refund, replace or accept returns of melted balms. If your balms melt, using a handheld mixer can be useful, and just place it in a cool, dark location, or to quickly reset them, pop them in the fridge for 5-15 minutes. The balm quality should not be affected. Also, the balms may whiten in cooler temps; just give a stir! This will also not affect the quality. Thank you for your understanding.

If I drink the psychic tea will I become psychic? How do the "magic teas" work? What results can I expect?

There's no strong psychotropic. It's more of a gentle assist in opening the third eye, Sahasrara, and Agnya. I'm an herbalist so I choose to work with a combination of metaphysical attributes and ayurvedic. Some herbs in the psychic blend have very mild sedative properties, mostly to aid in relaxing and accessing the energies. I like to say "they're herbs, not magic." These blends offered are to simply help you access and expand your own magical intent. They have historical, traditional, and mythological ties to specific powers, but wouldn't necessarily invoke powers you do not have or haven't yet cultivated. These tea blends are lovely mild alternatives of safe herbs to open the gateway to accessing what you desire.

My cauldron has wax residue on it! What's the deal?

Cast iron products are traditionally made by casting melted iron ore into a mold.
Lost-wax process, also called cire-perdue, is a method of metal casting in which a molten metal is poured into a mold that has been created by means of a wax model. The wax is then melted off. Some wax residue may remain, especially in crevices and design features. To remove any remaining wax, you can gently scrape it away with a tool or your fingernail. Clean with a damp cloth and dry well to prevent any rusting.
